Aurora. The name of a resort on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul (Kyrgyzstan), a legacy of the symbol of a revolutionary ship from the last century. Now, the grand name is a mere memory – a small boat on the dock. On the resort's beach, you can see village children and women selling hot corn and fish, local Muslim families coming to enjoy the sea breeze, and just next to them, secular city families in bikinis and bathing suits. The architecture of modern umbrellas against the scorching sun and the crumbling Soviet movie theater and radio room, all on a single plane, like a gigantic panorama of the changes taking place in society since the collapse of the USSR. Only the sea, the noise, the clouds, and the seagulls remain unchanged!
