The series with fingers appeared as a reaction to the performance, which took place in 2019 in Bishkek at the opening of the April Fools' Competition "Chronicles of [T] of the Jurassic Period," performed by the Punk Quartet (Bakhyt Bubikanova, Yulia Sorokina, Saule Dyusenbina, Fatima Omir). During the performance, Fatima Omir and I chopped cabbage with a large cleaver knife and scattered it among the audience. After the performance, the audience came up to me and said that they were worried about my fingers, if I would chop them off. After a certain period of time, I realized that the opportunity to leave my fingers in the cabbage could well come true, and then the imaginary fingers as part of the body of the artist's soul could continue to live in what the artist does. This is an ongoing series of graphics and prints, complemented by the video “Food”, where I introduce artists from our region in situations involving finger gestures and food.
